📍 Day 1–2: Perth to Geraldton (420 km)
Take the scenic Indian Ocean Drive. Stop at:
🔹 The Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park – eerie limestone formations.
🔹 Jurien Bay – great for a quick swim 🏊 or skydive 🪂!
🔹 Geraldton Foreshore – laid-back beach town with gorgeous sunsets 🌅.

📍 Day 3–4: Geraldton to Kalbarri (155 km)

🔹 Kalbarri National Park – hike to Nature’s Window and the Z Bend Gorge 🥾.

📍 Day 15–16: Port Hedland to Broome (610 km)
Long drive, but Broome is a tropical paradise waiting at the end 🌴.
🔹 Cable Beach camel ride at sunset – iconic Aussie experience 🐪🌅.
🔹 Explore Gantheaume Point, local pearl shops, and the Staircase to the Moon 🌕 (seasonal).

📍 Day 17–18: Broome to Derby and Windjana Gorge (200 km)
Start entering the Kimberley.
🔹 Derby’s Boab Prison Tree 🌳.
🔹 Windjana Gorge – amazing for croc spotting 🐊 and stargazing 🌌.

📍 Day 19–21: Gibb River Road Adventure (4WD recommended)

🔹 This is proper outback – remote, wild, and stunning 🛻.

📍 Day 22–24: Kununurra to Katherine (515 km)
Back to the bitumen.
🔹 Lake Argyle – bigger than Sydney Harbour 🚣‍♂️.
🔹 Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) – canoe or take a cruise through towering cliffs 🛶.

📍 Day 25–26: Katherine to Darwin (320 km)
Almost there!
🔹 Stop at Leliyn (Edith Falls) for a last swim 🏞️.
